Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional opportunity is available for a bilingual School Psychologist fluent in Russian, providing telehealth evaluations and support within an elementary school setting. This contract role runs from late October to early June and involves working closely with one student with complex needs.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Duration: October 20, 2025 June 5, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time hours with up to 5 hours per week dedicated directly to the caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for a 5-year-old student with Cerebral Palsy who is an English Language Learner (ELL), primarily Russian-speaking.
- Collaborate with speech, physical, and occupational therapists to assess and support the students developmental needs.
- Provide guidance and training to a 1:1 paraprofessional responsible for feeding, toileting, and repositioning the student.
- Deliver telehealth services and in-person evaluations as required.
- Maintain documentation and communication in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license.
- Demonstrated fluency in Russian, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with the student and family.
- Experience working with ELL students and children with special needs, particularly Cerebral Palsy.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary evaluation processes including Speech, PT, and OT assessments.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage a specialized caseload.
